“We decided to keep the beautiful gray interior of the old Graphic Arts Finishers building, updating the factory-style windows and completely renovating the interior into stunning loft spaces, punctuated with beautiful touches of exposed brick and timber.”

“We left the existing building alone as much as possible, allowing its natural charms to take center-stage, while building a very contemporary space around it.”

– C&J Katz Studio, Interior Design

Across a landscaped courtyard from Bldg A, and connected by an underground walkway, we built a striking, modern structure. Bldg Z was designed to stand out, offering an uncompromising contemporary lifestyle.

“Here, we became much more deliberate about including striking graphic elements, using a combination of colors, materials, and lighting to build bold but highly livable community spaces”

– C&J Katz Studio, Interior Design

“We exposed a lot of the structure of the building—the brick, the wiring, the ventilation. This let us create airy, open spaces with 14-foot ceilings and a distinctly industrial feel—it feels like something out of Brooklyn, or Portland.”

– ICON Architecture

“We wanted to create a warm, bright, contemporary structure that perfectly complements the heavier, industrial beauty of Building A – something that felt open, light, and welcoming, while taking advantage of the location’s incredible city views.”
